Citi Hispanic/Latino Heritage Network Visit

Volunteers from the Citi Hispanic/Latino Heritage Network will visit with Gardendale students and discuss the life and work of Cesar Chavez.

The Citi Hispanic/Latino Heritage Network works to support the Cesar E Chavez Legacy and Educational Foundation to keep the spirit of Cesar E. Chavez alive in San Antonio. Volunteers from the organization will read “Harvesting Hope: The Story of Cesar Chavez” to each classroom. After the reading, they will donate the book to each classroom.
