Pre-K 4 SA is a visionary initiative and citywide movement for the future of San Antonio, supported by business leaders, city officials, and a Board of Directors who believe that access to high-quality pre-kindergarten education can make a positive change in one generation.
This initiative is developing a more productive workforce, healthier and more engaged families, less poverty, and civic-minded young adults to take San Antonio into the future.
Expand access to affordable, high-quality prekindergarten for all 3- and 4-year-olds in San Antonio.
Strengthen San Antonio's early learning infrastructure to create an equitable, affordable, high-quality early learning and care system for young children.

So far, Pre-K 4 SA has:
- Served over 21,000 young learners in the education centers.
- Provided professional learning to 882 educators, with 4,888 children benefited, 124 CDA Courses completed, 18K hours of free, best-in-class professional learning (2025)
- Awarded over $4.2 million in grants annually to local private, parochial and public schools throughout the city to increase access to high-quality early childhood learning.
- Engaged in 35,337 family interactions and 17,741 Events and Outreach interactions
