Program Results
Building strong brains for long-term success.
The Year 5 independent evaluation of Pre-K 4 SA indicates the program is producing strong and lasting results. For the fourth year in a row, student outcome data demonstrates that Pre-K 4 SA helps students overcome initial gaps in kindergarten readiness. Evaluations measure cognitive, mathematics, literacy, and oral language skills, as well as physical and social-emotional aspects of early childhood education.
It works. And sticks!
The report shows that Pre-K 4 SA teachers provide a level of instructional quality that leads to long-term academic benefits for students and that Pre-K 4 SA students make significant gains in executive function and self-regulation skills, two key brain processes that are strongly associated with success later in life. Through our Professional Learning Program, we are even nurturing this kind of success for classrooms up to 3rd grade, ensuring an optimal educational future for as many students as possible.
