Gracias San Antonio: Children Art Citizens | Exhibit Opening Reception

Join us for the opening reception of Gracias San Antonio: Children Art Citizens!

Gracias San Antonio: Children are Citizens Project is a classroom-based opportunity for local artists to collaborate with three- and four-year-old students enrolled in Pre-K 4 SA centers across the city. Each classroom is paired with a volunteer artist to work together to create a work of art inspired by the city itself. As part of the curriculum, students explore San Antonio’s iconic landmarks with their families for artistic inspiration. Once completed, the final art piece is presented at the fundraising exhibit where attendees can bid on the artwork, and all proceeds will benefit the Bexar County Family Justice Center.

Art pieces will be on display from April 17—May 4 at the Central Library. Art will be returned to their respective centers and on display through the duration of the online auction in the Family Café during normal school hours.
