H-E-B and the San Antonio Food Bank are set to distribute 2,000 food packs and produce bags to students and families in Pre-K 4 SA on Friday.

The study's "findings reaffirm the persistent issues we've encountered in child care — ranging from affordability and staff shortages to limited infant care," Sarah Baray, CEO of Pre-K 4 SA, said in a statement.

Sponsored by Ready to Work, the city’s Economic Development and Human Services departments and Pre-K 4 SA, the study was commissioned to clarify the issue for officials who play a role in ensuring San Antonians have accessible pathways to well-paying jobs.
