KLRN 2026 Fall Fest

Enjoy time with your family as we explore an array of education stations and enjoy healthy treats while outdoors. We will feature several PBS KIDS Fall themed episodes starting at sundown.

This FREE educational event will feature school readiness activities and family fun. Visit with a PBS KIDS character and learn about local FREE family programs.

KLRN’s Education team will share activity ideas with adults to help prepare children for school success, distribute free books and register families for the Lantern service. Agencies will share information on free parent and caregiver workshops; many of these workshops provide families with hands-on learning activities, free materials and books.

We’ll have more family-friendly fun including fall-themed make-and-take activities, gross motor activities, science exploration, and arts & crafts areas. Entertainment will include a visit by Costume Character Grover from Sesame Street and fun games like: oversized Connect 4, oversized Jenga, and more!

Meet and Greet times are limited and registration for the event does not guarantee a visit with costume character Grover. Meet and Greet times will take place for 30 min each time. Unfortunately, the costume character is only allowed to be out for 30 min and then the costume character must go in to take a break. Lining up does not guarantee a meet and greet time with the costume character.

Meet and Greet times will be from 6:15 PM-6:45 PM and 7:15 PM-7:45 PM

Trunk or Treat will be taking place during the event giving out treats to the children from their cars.
