Cesar E. Chavez March

Join us for the 27th Annual Cesar E. Chavez March for Justice on Saturday, March 25, 2023. The Cesar Chavez March honors the farm workers who toil in the field to feed a nation. Join in helping feed those in our city affected by food insecurity.

Our team will be meeting behind the Guadalupe Theater at 9:00am. Look out for our banner! March will depart at 10am at the intersection of Guadalupe & Brazos streets and ends at Hemisfair Plaza. Program starts at 9am and March begins promptly at 10am. Wear your Pre-K 4 SA or GELP shirt and dress in comfortable shoes and clothes to the event.

8:30 a.m.: DJ Plata kicks off the morning with San Antonio music and a morning rally. Complimentary coffee and refreshments will be provided.

10 a.m.: March steps off at the intersection of Guadalupe & Brazos streets and ends at Hemisfair Plaza.

12 -3 p.m.: Afternoon program, music and entertainment.

The Cesar E. Chavez Legacy & Educational Foundation (CECLEF) will continue to monitor COVID-19 cases within our San Antonio community and surrounding areas. Should San Antonio experience a surge, we will consult with Metro Health officials and take the right safety precautions to keep the health and safety of the community our priority.
